Women selling at a market stall

Built in Kampala. For the way Uganda trades.

Cash in the drawer, MoMo on the phone, goods by the carton and customers on credit. DAS POS keeps all of it in one place.

01Why we built it

Business here doesn't fit a foreign till.

One customer pays cash, the next pays on Airtel Money. A carton is bought, and sold by the piece. A regular takes goods today and pays at month end. A store sends bread to the counter, and someone has to say it arrived.

Most systems were made for somewhere else, so the real business ends up in an exercise book beside them. We built DAS POS so the book is no longer needed.

03What we hold to

Your data is yours.

Every business gets its own database, its own staff accounts and its own web address. No other business shares your records, and none can see them.

Honest records.

Every sale says who made it, where, and how it was paid. A MoMo or card payment keeps its transaction ID. Stock never goes below zero, and a void needs a reason.

The phone you already have.

No special till to buy. DAS POS runs in the browser on an Android phone, an iPhone, a tablet or a computer, and can sit on your home screen like an app.

Only what is real.

We describe what DAS POS does today. When something is still being built, we don't sell it.
