Service Levels

Version 1 · Effective 6 October 2026

On paid plans, DAS POS is committed to being available at least 99.5% of each calendar month. You can follow our availability, live, on the status page.

1. How availability is measured

Our monitoring checks every five minutes whether DAS POS is serving pages. A period is treated as unavailable from the first failed check until the next successful one. Monthly availability is the proportion of the month that was not unavailable. The status page reflects the same records.

2. Exclusions

The following are not counted as unavailability:

  • Maintenance announced in the app at least 24 hours in advance, up to four hours in any month.
  • Issues with your device, your internet connection or your network provider.
  • Mobile money providers such as MTN and Airtel, email delivery, and other services outside our control.
  • Suspension under the Terms, or use that is inconsistent with the Terms.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control, as described in the Terms.
  • Free trials, demonstrations and practice businesses.

3. Service credits

If we fall short of the commitment in a month, the business's Owner may request a credit against future fees:

  • below 99.5% and at least 99.0%: 5% of that month's fee;
  • below 99.0% and at least 95.0%: 10% of that month's fee;
  • below 95.0%: 25% of that month's fee.

Requests must be made by email to archderick@gmail.com within 30 days of the end of the month concerned. Credits are not redeemable for cash and may not exceed the fee for that month. Service credits are your sole and exclusive remedy for any unavailability, and nothing on this page alters the limitations of liability in the Terms of Service.

4. Support

You can report a problem from within the app, under your account menu, or through our Contact page. We aim to respond within one business day, and problems that prevent sales are always handled first.
