Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Derick ArchiTech Studio Limited ("DAS", "we" or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies in DAS POS and on pos.archderick.com (the "Service"). It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

1. The cookies we use

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow advertisers or analytics companies to track you through the Service. The cookies we use fall into three categories. Only the first is used without your choice.

• Essential (always active). These keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery, carry a sign in step from one page to the next, remember a device you chose to trust and the accounts saved on it, remember the branch or section where you work and the scanner paired with your till, keep a practice business or a customer app session open, and remember your cookie choice. They also include Cloudflare's check that protects our forms from automated abuse. The Service cannot function without them.
• Preferences (with your consent). These remember your language, country and currency, your display choices, the sidebar, Teach mode and how often tips appear, from one visit to the next. They also allow our website help chat to keep your conversation on your device. Without your consent, your display choices still apply while you use the Service and are forgotten when you close your browser.
• Maps (with your consent). These allow the Google map on our Contact page. Google sets its own cookies when the map loads, under Google's own policies. Until you consent, the map is not loaded, and you may open the location in Google Maps instead.

2. Your choices

On our public website, we ask for your choice the first time you visit, with "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Customize" given equal prominence. Our help chat keeps your conversation on your device, so it asks for your consent to Preferences before it opens.

Signing in to the Service, or opening a practice business, requires essential cookies, so within the Service we offer "Customize" and "Accept all", and the optional categories remain entirely your choice.

We remember your choice on your device until you clear this site's data in your browser, or until we introduce a new category of cookies, in which case we ask again. You may change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page; if you withdraw consent, what was remembered is removed. You may also block or delete cookies in your browser, although signing in and other parts of the Service will then no longer work.

So that we can demonstrate what was agreed, we keep a record of each choice: the choice made, when it was made, the version of this policy shown, the internet address and browser it came from, and the account, where you were signed in. We keep these records for as long as the law requires us to be able to demonstrate consent.

3. Changes to this policy

If we begin to use cookies of a new kind, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them.
